Here we are in the third month of the year and hopefully Spring will begin. We are beginning to see signs in the church garden as warmth encourages growth.

And suddenly it is February, Christmas is weeks ago and January has blown past us in those many storms with odd names! Of course, Christmas may have drawn to a halt on January 6th for most of us, but officially the Christmas season continues until Candlemas, on February 2nd. I ‘m not sure whether that means you could have left your tree and cards up until Monday….

Our 2025 Annual General Meeting was easily quorate, providing a welcome and timely break from recent sparse attendances and, much more importantly, enabling this important meeting to proceed and decisions to be taken.

Since our last newsletter we have enjoyed some wonderful warm sunny, some may even say hot weather for several weeks. Let’s hope this continues through the summer months too. As I write this page it has been raining, a welcome relief for the gardens.

On the 23rd of March we held our Church Meeting following morning service. Thankfully it was quorate, with seven members in attendance and three regular friends, who it would be lovely if they would consider becoming members.
